Backstory

This was the second song I ever put out. The first is only available on my SoundCloud, and I think it's privated at the moment. This is the first song I've written with the intention of it being instrumental. I'm not much of a singer, so I tried my hand at not having vocals. I'm not upset with how it came out. The call and response towards the chorus/drop at the end of the song is where it got its name. It reminded me of two people having a conversation over the phone and how sometimes the voices overlap due to the latency, but the message is still clear enough that both people can make sense of it and keep the conversation going.
